→ ABOUT THE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM (MDS):

Rural Dental College has been training the postgraduate students with state of art facilities along with the latest technologies, thus keeping them at par with global advancement and curriculum .
Every year RDC trains 22 postgraduate students under this degree program.
This is a three year course and recognized by Dental Council of India.

  • Course Name : Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS)
  • Course Duration : 3 years
  • Admission Process : Based on National Eligibility and Entrance Test(NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Qualification : Qualified candidate should have obtained BDS degree from any recognised dental college / University.
  • Intake :22 per year
  • Recognised by : Dental Council of India, New Delhi, India

→ LIST OF DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR MDS ADMISSION:

Candidate shall have to produce following Original Documents along with Three Self Attested sets of their photocopies.The following documents are required for verification by the Admission Authorities (PART : A+B) :

6 Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st July, 2021 of the year of admission.
7 Permanent / provisional Registration Certificate issued by DCI/ State Council. Provisional Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where the candidate is undergoing internship and likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of the year of admission.
8 Secondary School (10th ) Marks Sheet & Passing Certificates
9 Higher Secondary (12th ) Marks Sheet & Passing Certificates
10 Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
11 The Candidate should also bring the following certificates, (If applicable):
  • b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus.
  • c) EWS Certificate as per the Central Govt. Norms
  • d) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016. No other PwD certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained. The format of certificate of Disability should be given in NEET-MDS Information Bulletin (Annexure : I)
12 Candidates allotted seat must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission (as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for AIPGMEE/ AIPGDEE i.e. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card).
13 Hand Written and Self Attested Undertaking by the candidate stating as under :

Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that their original certificate are deposited with the institute/ College/ University will not be allowed to take admission. Kindly note that there will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD candidates in Deemed Universities.
