→ ABOUT THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM (BDS):

Since 1989, Rural Dental College is training the undergraduate students keeping in mind the skill based learning and teaching in combination with latest technology and tradition.
Every year RDC trains 100 undergraduate students under this degree program.
This is a five year course (4+1) and recognized by Dental Council of India.

  • Course Name : Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
  • Course Duration : 4 years + 1year(Internship)
  • Admission Process : Based on National Eligibility and Entrance Test(NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Qualification : Qualified candidate should have passed H.Sc or equivalent exam from any recognised board / University with 50% of marks obtained in PCB
    group(Physics + Chemistry + Biology) for general category and 40% for reserved category.

  • Recognised by : Dental Council of India, New Delhi;India

  • For BDS Eligibility fees is 5% of Tuition Fee for 1st year only.

  • For BDS course 10% Increase in tuition fee for remaining period from 2024-25.

    Candidate shall have to produce following Original Documents along with Three Self Attested sets of their photocopies.

    • NEET-UG 2021 Admit Card issued by National Testing Agency (NTA).
    • NEET-UG 2021 Result/ Rank letter issued by National Testing Agency (NTA).
    • Certificate of Birth / Age ( S.S.C. Passing Certificate / Valid Passport ).
    • Provisional Allotment Letter generated Online from DGHS Website ( www.mcc.nic.in )
    • S.S.C. / Equivalent Statement of Marks and Certificate.
    • H.S.C. / Equivalent Statement of Marks and Certificate.
    • Photo identity proof ( AADHAR Card/PAN /Passport/Driving Licence )
    • Leaving / Transfer Certificate
    • Migration certificate
    • Bonafide and Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
    • Gap Certificate ( If passed 10+2 in or before 2021).
    • Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
    • Caste Validity certificate (by candidates belonging to all Backward class)
    • AIU (Association of Indian Universities) Equivalence certificate (if studied under foreign system in India)
    • Nationality Certificate / Valid passport / Domicile Certificate
    • Disability Certificate ( If applicable )
    • Passport (In case of Foreign National/ Wards of person of Indian origin /Wards of NRI)
    • Six passport size colour photographs

      • → For NRI/PIO/OCI candidates following documents are mandatory:

    • Valid Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate
    • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)
    • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)
    • Citizenship of the sponsorer
    • Candidate's Sponsorer's Passport/ Visa/ Resident Visa
    • Candidate's sponsorer's resident certificate issued by the Embassy
    • Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee of the Candidate
    • Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer

    * It is mandatory to submit original document at the time of admission. Candidates without original documents will not be entertained under any circumstances.

    Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that their original certificate are deposited with the institute/ College/ University will not be allowed to take admission. Kindly note that there will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD candidates in Deemed Universities.
