INTRODUCTION

The Department of Prosthodontics at Rural Dental College, Loni, offers a Graduate and three years postgraduate program leading to a Master of Dental Surgery awarded by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni. The advanced training Program in Prosthodontics is approved and accredited by the Dental Council of India. Department of Prosthodontics having state of art infrastructural facilities, competent faculty and ample amount of research material, deals with wide variety of cases ranging from single tooth replacement to multiple teeth replacement with removable and/or fixed prosthesis.
Pravara is a role model for giving urban amenities to rural people and practices a widened arena of rehabilitation with dental implants. Rehabilitation of maxillofacial defects and TM joint disorders are also being treated here with utmost care.
